Founded by William Jenkins, Hikitalo is built on his deep passion for saunas and their unique ability to bring people together while supporting both physical and mental wellbeing.
With support from Hexa Finance and BCRS Business Loans, Hikitalo is set to open a new urban sauna in the heart of Cardiff. Opening in April 2026, the site will introduce the city to the restorative benefits of heat therapy, community, and wellness in a modern and accessible setting for the very first time.
The Requirements
To bring another location to life, Will needed financial support that would enable a full city centre fit-out. The funding covered the installation of new saunas, interior construction, groundwork for the additional space, and the development of a mixed purpose environment that includes an ice bath.
The Cardiff site will feature three wood-fired saunas delivering authentic heat between 85 and 100 degrees, three contrasting plunge pools, and dedicated areas to unwind, reset, and connect. The space will welcome up to 36 people per hour.
The Solution
