Hexa Finance has announced the appointment of Lindsay Porter as Senior Growth Advisor for Scotland, marking the latest step in the firm’s nationwide expansion.
Lindsay brings more than 25 years of experience in commercial finance, having held senior roles with some of the industry’s biggest names. He spent the past 18 years at BNP Paribas Leasing Solutions, most recently as Area Sales Manager, following earlier positions with BT Financial Services and GE Capital. Over that time, he has built long-standing relationships with brokers, clients and funders across Scotland and the wider UK, earning a reputation for his market knowledge and focus on customer service.
His appointment reflects Hexa Finance’s continued growth across the UK, with the firm investing in experienced talent to meet rising demand and strengthen its local presence in key regions.
Lindsay Porter, Senior Growth Advisor for Scotland at Hexa Finance, said: “Joining Hexa feels like the right next step after more than 25 years in the funder space. I’ve watched the business go from strength to strength and establish itself as one of the most dynamic brokers in the market.
“Scotland has a thriving and diverse business community that is looking for fresh ways to fund growth, and Hexa has the scale, expertise and agility to deliver that. I’m excited to bring my experience to the team, work closely with clients and funders, and play a part in building a stronger presence for Hexa in Scotland and across the UK.
Stu Mason, Co-Founder and Commercial Director, Hexa Finance, commented: “Dan has already shown huge energy and persistence in further building our direct channel, so moving into this role is a natural next step for him. With his experience, he knows how to get the right results for businesses quickly and efficiently, which is exactly what our customers value.
“Phil also brings a strong track record of building and leading successful teams, and his appointment adds further depth to the support we can offer. Having him on the ground in Wales means we can spend even more time with business owners, understanding their needs and finding the right finance solutions to help them grow.
“Our direct and indirect channels go hand in hand: the stronger each becomes, the more opportunities we have to deliver for customers. This structure gives us a solid platform to keep scaling while staying true to what matters most: helping businesses access finance with confidence.”
The move follows a period of rapid growth for Hexa, with the firm expanding its team, redeveloping its offices, broadening its product set and increasing its reach across the UK.
